For this weeks art experience I decided to create a flip book. I used to make flip books when I was younger so I already knew what I was doing. Flip books are fun to make and they don’t take much time at all. It is fun to see the little stop motion cartoon that is created through the gentle flipping of the pages. For my flip book I decided to create a cartoon of a bouncing ball. I started with the ball coming from the upper left hand corner and traveling to the right side of the pages. To mimic the ball hitting the ground I drew half of an oval to show the ball flattening out before bouncing back up. Overall I had fun creating my flip book and it brought back childhood memories.
